Location: Martinez, GA (Based out of 76 Flowing Wells Road, Unit F-1, Martinez, GA 30907, job sites across Augusta + CSRA)

Brush Strokes Quality Painting is a commercial and industrial painting contractor serving Augusta and the broader CSRA (Georgia + portions of South Carolina). We deliver complex work with strong systems, clear accountability, and a "do life together" team culture. As we continue to grow and expand, we're hiring a Working Superintendent who can lead crews on-site, coordinate production with professionalism, and jump in hands-on when needed to keep the job on track.This is a field leadership role for someone who knows commercial painting, understands job site realities, and can run a clean, safe, efficient site without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day field execution on commercial/industrial painting projects

- Run the plan: manpower, daily priorities, site readiness, and production pacing

- Work alongside the crew as needed while still leading (a true "working" superintendent)

- Coordinate with GCs/site supers, maintain professionalism, and keep communication tight

- Own job site quality: prep standards, coating application, details, punch lists, closeout

- Enforce safety and job site compliance (ladders, lifts, PPE, containment, housekeeping)

- Read plans/specs, clarify scope, and ensure crews execute to requirements

- Track progress and report updates (photos, notes, labor hours, material needs)

- Request/order materials and keep equipment organized and job-ready

- Train, coach, and hold painters accountable to standards and pace

- Solve problems early, document issues, and escalate the right things at the right time


Qualifications

- 5+ years in professional commercial painting (industrial coatings experience is a plus)

- 2+ years leading crews as a foreman, lead, or superintendent

- Strong knowledge of surface prep, coatings systems, and professional finishing standards

- Comfortable running lifts/scaffolding and leading safe, disciplined job site behavior

- Ability to read drawings/specs and execute work to requirements

- Strong communication: calm, direct, respectful with crews and clients

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally across the CSRA

Compensation & Benefits

- Full-time, W-2 position- Salary: $45,000 to $57,500 base (based on experience and capability)

- Company vehicle + fuel (role-dependent)

- Paid Time Off, including paid week of Christmas + major U.S. holidays

- After 1 year: Simple IRA match and health plan contribution/match (individualized plan structure)

- Growth path as we expand (Senior Superintendent / Field Operations leadership)
